You have a brake drum with the splines striped out. Have some one watch the rear axle nut on both rear wheels when you let out the clutch. Chances are one of the nuts will be turning and the wheel will be standing still. Pull the drum and install a new one, then retighten the axle nut (250 foot lb's) and recheck it in about a 100 miles. replacing VW Motors. I became so good at it, I am thinking of starting a part
